First survey is really a nice statistic-based one, just like those I love. Please, take it if you are at least a little curious about this all "furry" thing that differs in opinion so much:

The other one comes from ~TigerHawkmon who came up with this quite an interesting idea time ago which I planned to follow and frankly I´d love to see this thing to spread at least a little bit. I don´t know what difference this can make, but who knows what surprice it could bring up. Since ladder survey deals with bare facts, this one takes the personal part and I think ~TigerHawkmon could summarize it for us, if enough people respond it.

Here´s my part:
1 Is there a difference between anthro and furry? Why or Why Not?
I know there are people who do see a difference between those two terms, when it comes to me however, I think of the same. Future historians might define it as "furry fandom was so into anthro", but we´re not there yet.

2 What is Anthro to you (ie not dictionary definition)?
I´ve been drawing animalistic creatures, TFs, anthros and sorts since I was very little. My highschool workshop leaving project was fully anthro even though it was years before I stumbled over the actual term. The answer for this question for me is: It´s me.

3 Why do you do anthro? (or why do you not)
It was a great relief knowing I might be crazy but being far from being alone in there. I enjoy making anthro art, some people enjoy my anthro art and I enjoy anthro art of many other people there is. Personally I think it´ll make it´s mark in the history of art, but first we, anthro artists and furries, need to work hard.

4 What is Furry to you?
I´m a furry. I don´t particulary like everything and everyone involved but I don´t deny myself because of those. I don´t appeal on other people´s morals as to what they can and should not do to asure us a good name since every man´s moral is unenforceable.

5 Why are you furry? (or why are you not)
I sincerely believe it´s a sort of a non-pathogenic deviation just like other more or less odd hobbies and obsessions are. I grew up with it, I exhale to the other world with it, too.

6 Are you a Therian?
Human? No denying it.

7 How do you feel about zoos? Why?
It´s less fun for kids than is generally believed. It´s OK with me. ZOOs preserve and make money out of rare animal species. I can hardly figure out anything down right wrong about them.

8 How do you feel about humanity? Why?
History of human kind is really interesting. It made me believed that world-wide peace would last five minutes at most and none of us would get anything out of it anyway. I highly recommend works of Thomas Malthus and Jeff Cooper. We really need violence breed more violence, for if somebody raises a hand against my loved ones, they should get in return more than they think just.

9 How do you choose an animal?
I prefer other people´s creations and working with their designs. For some reason creating my own doesn´t bring any joy to me. Rare species prefered.

10 How do you handle hybridization? (some people mix, some people avoid it, some people go off the deep end)
I don´t particulary ragard hybridization in art very fondly. It´s a field of fantazy that is not at all set in the real world and comparisions can´t be made.

I, once again, got taggeg, this time by marvelous ~EnemyStripe, to do a little bit of self descriptioning. I´ll try to write something new in contrast with the last time. Let´s roll:

1. Ever since I was caught in a tram without a ticket I avoided public tramsportation to the point I ceased using it. I became a very good walker since then. For example I could walk to my school in Turnov afoot. From Liberec where I live to Turnov it´s 25 km and sometimes I managed to do "zero days" (zero standing for amount money spent on commuting), covering over 50 km in one day walking.

2. There´s only one physical feature about me I don´t particulary like - I´m very tall, 182,5 cm tall (71,85 inches if I´m right) but I´m underweight. I already got alergic to my mom´s commenting about it, but no matter how much I eat I never gain weight.

3. In contrast to no. 2. confession, I´m not weak. In fact over the years of being looked upon as being that had driven me into working harder than the rest.

4. Closely related to no. 3., you´ll never hear me complaing. Life troubles I try to solve, come to terms with them if I can´t and if you ask me, pain doesn´t exist. Not that I would believe anybody of you would be interested in hearing them anyway.

5. I´m a little bit of an intriguer - I make a good impression, figure out people´s nature and use them if I need. This way I had much less "interesting" times passing university than I would have.

6. During my studies at university I made an interview with Pavel Koutský, a world-wide famous Czech animator. He´s crazy.

7. My voice sounds as if I were retarded.

8. ... but really, I actually consider myself quite educated.

Hello, my highly appreciated watchers and random visitors!
Some good things happened ´d like to share:
It´s been some months since I fell somewhat inactive due to leaving university exams. Papers and works had to be done that exhausted all the time from me and just now I managed to reply to all messages, favs, journals and new watchers so that I could add up a bit of my own.
I´ve passed my bachelor degree very fine by my standarts, only one B mark from a totally clear score. Now, as promised I´ll present you the little cartoon we were bound to make. It´s nothing special, but it does qualify me to do complex animation methods and I do feel like an achieved aniator over the years doing it.
I´ll very welcome your thoughts and opinions. Please, write them into this journal, being more home here on DevianArt rather than on YouTube. URGENT NOTE!: A movie of any kind must be clear and understandable after the first looking at it. Please, make a note about that, too.

This also means that I can get back into planning stages of my "Soudoba" project in which some of you are participating. I´d write a journal about it soon enough.

I´ve just finished seeing all the stuff I missed before getting my computer and internet going. Now, things happened that changed my plans. It´s a pack of good and bad news, but I believe each of you will sort out which one is which.
At the begining of the school year I was told that the "Soudoba" project I was preparing is not going to go in production. It´s the "movie" you yourself might got involved to. It´s postponed now. Not that the tutors wouldn´t like the script - They actually like it a lot, but it´s too long to be done in the year and scenes can´t be cut out to keep it comprehansible.
Resulting:
- You´ll see other cartoon from me by May of this year
- I refuse to let "Soudoba" die away, I´ve done a way too much to
just let it be so I´ll be working on it at my spare time
- That means it will take much longer
- ...but it also means I can work it out much better, being set free from production stress
- Guys I asked for permission stay at the project scheme unless they say otherwise
- I will have some more time to work on usual "art" from me you haven´t seen for quite long
- etc, etc,...

Well, I could see some of it coming. Nevermind.
Some of you guys were really excited of being in my project. I´m sorry i mess it up so bad now.
I´ll just post some backgrounds of "Soudoba" project for you to see what I still have in plans to finish.
Good times take turns with bad ones... Good times preceded the present one.

The Lesson

From what you can see there you know I´m no master animator. I´m a beginer but I´m improving. That won´t make my next request any less awkward:
Next year I´m working on my leaving bachelor project - An animated feature, furry style, about 5 minutes long. The story takes place in a fantasy era in a city. The city needs to be full of characters and that was when I came with the idea of asking people who possess their own characters or fursonas whether they would be as kind as to "donate" them into my project. The reason why I do it this way is that I like to cheer up other people by, let´s say, working with their characters and it´s also much more pleasant work for me. Some agreed, some refused.
Therefore I´d like to ask everybody of you who would be willing to lend me their characters for my project. So far I have only one existing ´screenshot´ so that you could get a picture of what it´s going to be like:

All conditions you state for your help are totally up to you. Naturally you will have a place in final titles, I´d depict your characters as close to the original as possible, we can discuss your roles, I can show you WIPs and anything you would want and I could meet.
Of the practical side - The story is not pervert. It has only two main characters and both of them are already taken, the rest of you can take part only as deuteragonists with as much as a few seconds per scene. Limited space for dragons and Pokémons.
I´d like to present list of you who I´d like to include in my project. If you for any reason won´t agree, it´s OK. If you do, you make me very happy:



I might forget to mention some guys but I didn´t mention any Czech or Slovak members of furry fandom because I plan to discuss this with them personally. Anyway - If you would like me to give you a role, just say and we will then figure things out. I myself will carry on hunting potential actors.
